First class food manufacturers open their door for your group to gain interesting insights about the production process of their culinary specialties. Of course you will have the chance to get a taste of the freshly made products.

Chocolate, Ham or Vinegar?

Depending on your taste you will have to choose one of these options:

• Zotter Chocolate Factory:
  Josef Zotter and his team built a paradise for Chocoholics in the heart of Austria. The diversity of varieties is huge and it keeps growing: More than 365 different kinds of chocolate are created already. All of them are made of organic ingredients and with fair trade-products.
• Vulcano Ham Manufactory:
  Experience excellent quality of meat and gain knowledge about sustainable agricultural production. Moreover you should have a look into the stables and convince yourself of the animal-friendly husbandry. You and your team will taste various ham specialties with different ripening times.
• Gölles Vinegar Factory and Brandy Distillery:
  The Gölles Manufactory is a well-known producer of vinegar and fine spirits. You and your group will take a look into Austria’s largest vinegar cellar. The products which mature here are made from (often rare) varieties which grow in their large fruit orchards.
  Additionally to the exquisite vinegar specialties your team can taste some noble spirits like brandy and schnapps.

A lunchbreak at Seehaus Riegersburg will give you the chance to process all of the newly made  insights and experiences while enjoying more culinary delights.

Afternoon Activity: iPad Rallye

After your visit at one of our first class food manufacturers and a delicious lunch your group will be entirely full and satisfied. Now the active part of the company trip will begin. The group will be split up into small teams. Each team will be equipped with a tablet which will guide them and provide them with various challenges. Among them: creative tasks, knowledge-based questions, logic puzzles and photo-/video-challenges. Which team will perform best? And who will be the happy winners of the medals in the end?
